As part of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations weekend the Parish Council are hosting a Beacon Event with Cusworth Hall on Thursday 2nd June between 6-10pm. The Parish Council at its meeting on 18th March 2022 endorsed the statements made by the Local Government Association and the National Association of Local Councils which strongly condemns the multiple attacks and violations of the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine. Tickets for the Easter Pantomime 'Rapunzel' will go on sale at 9am on Tuesday 1st February. It will be at Goldsmith Centre on Sunday 24th April 2022. There are two show times; 12pm and 3pm. The tickets cost £3 for children (including an Easter Egg and gift bag at the interval) and £5 for adults. Please call 01302 788093 to reserve your tickets.

As part of the Parish Council's commitment to climate change th Parish Council has set aside a budget to offer water butts to residents at a subsidised rate. Two options are available; a larger 210ltr butt (£25) or a smaller 100ltr butt (£15).
