Residents may be aware the bollards that were installed by Doncaster Council at the Gamkeeper's Cottage and Trans Pennine Trail entrances to Newlands Park have been vandalised before the concrete had even had chance to set. One bollard was due to be replaced at the Gamekeeper's cottage entrance to a drop down bollard to enable access to maintain the ponds however one bollard was removed before the swap could take place. The new drop down bollard has been ordered and will be installed as soon as possible and additional concrete added to all bollards to reinforce them.
