The Parish Council express their sincere condolences to the King, his Consort and the Royal Family on the passing of Queen Elizabeth the Second. Our sadness at this time is shared by people across the globe, as we remember with affection and gratitude the lifetime of service given by our longest reigning Monarch.

National Lottery grant award

National Lottery grant award

The Parish Council have been successful in their bid to the National Lottery to fund new fire doors at the Goldsmith Centre. A total of £7500 has been awarded. The work to replace the fire doors will take place in September.

A BIG thank you to everyone who attended the beacon lighting event at Cusworth Hall on 2nd June 2022. It was estimated between 2,000 to 2,500 people attended with 904 visitors to the museum in Cusworth Hall. Queen's Platinum Jubilee Beacon lighting event - Cusworth Hall

Come and join us at Cusworth Hall between 6-10pm to celebrate the Queen's Jubilee.

Maltby Miners Welfare Brass Band will be playing from 7pm followed by Edlington Jubilee Choir at 8.15pm, local bagpiper Robbie Conroy at 9.30 before a poem recital from a local poet at 9.40pm before the beacon is lit at 9.45pm.
