Lamp Post Poppy Campaign 2023
Sprotbrough and Cusworth Parish Council would like to invite you to join the Sprotbrough and Cusworth 'Lamp Post Poppies' campaign for 2023
We are asking for donations to adorn the Parish with lamp post poppies this November. All money raised will be used to purchase large poppies from the Royal British Legion which supports any veteran or their family that are living with difficulties.
Not only will this be a touching tribute to our brave service men and women but also, Sprotbrough and Cusworth residents/businesses will raise money for the Poppy Appeal charity.
All you need to do is contact the Parish Council on 01302 788093 or sprotcuspc@btconnect.com to make a donation. Each poppy costs £5.
The Parish Council with the help of members of the Don Gorge Community Group will install the poppies along Sprotbrough Road/ Melton Road/ Thorpe Lane/ Main Street in Sprotbrough and Cusworth Lane in Cusworth. The poppies can then be used and added to in subsequent years.
